How to Select Keywords That Will Best Sell Your Product Online


So what makes for a good keyword? Obviously you want people searching it, but you also want to make sure that the people searching that keyword are buying the product too. It's better to have a single person who is ready to buy than a hundred people who are doing their initial research and have really not decided what is that they are going to buy.

For example, imagine a user searching for the term "Guitar." Is he a prospective buyer or just a net surfer trying to gather some information? Chances are that he is only there to gather information and has little or no intention of buying the product. How come we made this conclusion? We arrived at this conclusion from the keywords he used for his search. If he had searched for say "Acoustic bass guitars" which is a much targeted keyword, we can presume that the searcher is really someone who knows what he wants and is ready to buy.
